It’s nice to see a show with such a wonderful cast. The drama is based on the story of Roomi, who is the only child of the family and was born during the time of religious extremism. As she grows up, she decides that being a good person should be a priority in life.
In the drama, Taqdeer, we see how a girl named Roomi faces a number of challenges that arise from her marriage. She originally has aspirations to be an artist and musician but she gradually becomes nothing more than a housewife. The story of Taqdeer is set against the backdrop of modern-day Pakistani society, where women are still being oppressed by their husbands and in-laws – forcing them to work in order to support themselves and their families.
