Taking Flight with Maharishi Valmiki International Airport:

  • Located 15 km from the city, this state-of-the-art airport will cater to 10 lakh passengers annually, opening doors for increased tourism and connectivity.
  • The terminal building boasts eco-friendly features like LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, and a solar power plant, aiming for GRIHA 5-star rating.
  • An extended runway allows operations of A-321/B-737 type aircraft, paving the way for direct connections to major cities.
  • IndiGo is set to operate the inaugural Delhi-Ayodhya flight, with commercial services commencing on January 6th.

Connecting Through Railways:

  • PM Modi will dedicate three railway projects worth ₹2300 crore, including line tripling, doubling, and electrification initiatives.
